The festive derby – bring it on!

For those in dire need of some lung-expanding fresh air and some sporting action to blow away the Christmas cobwebs and calories, then the place to be on Saturday evening is the House of Pain.

Pontypridd take on Cardiff in the traditional festive derby on Saturday 28th December, the big match kicking off at 5:15pm, screened live on S4C. Being a couch potato in front of the TV however is not the best option as nothing can live up to the experience of being part of the occasion.

A bumper crowd is expected at Sardis Road to watch Ponty attempt to derail Cardiff’s title challenge. The Valley Commandos against the Blue and Blacks, the clash of rugby cultures – this is one match that needs no hype or hysteria, it already has it all.

The bars at Sardis Road will be open from 2:30pm on Saturday serving food and drink, with sporting action on the TV screens, all leading up to the big match live at 5:15pm. It will be atmospheric, it will be titanic – be there!
