The Ponty Rugby Show with special guest Matthew Nuthall
The GTFM Ponty Rugby Show will be broadcast at 6:45pm on Wednesday evening 6th December and joining Iestyn Thomas as the special guest this week is former Pontypridd favourite Matthew Nuthall.
‘Nutz’, as he was affectionately known during his playing days racked up 231 appearances for Pontypridd over three spells between 2002-2016. He made his debut for the Club back in the professional days and burst onto the scene winning Man of the Match on his debut back in April 2002 as the team beat Bridgend at Sardis Road. Matthew went on to have a stellar career in the sport and was part of some memorable Ponty sides becoming a real favourite with the Sardis faithful. He’ll be chatting to Iestyn about his career with both Pontypridd and the Celtic Warriors along with his current role within the Club – coaching Ponty under 11’s.
There’s no match this weekend, but as always Guto Davies will be presenting the regular Newsround section to inform you of all the latest goings on at Ponty RFC.
